Cross-Country race in Richmond Park organsied by Ranelagh Harriers.  Final race in the club XC champs for 2017/18

Location: Richmond Park, near Pembroke Lodge, look for The Stragglers flag on the opposite side of the road to Pembroke Lodge (see attached course map). There is parking at Pembroke Lodge, but best to arrive early if travelling by car. (Also see below for alternative carparking if you are staying for the social afterwards).

Number Collection: Pick up your number at the flag, we’ll be there by 2pm. (Due to large numbers of us running, please try and arrive in good time!).

Distance: 5.5 miles (men, ladies and juniors run together).  It’s 2 laps (the juniors do 1 lap).  The course is suitable for spikes or trail shoes etc.

After the race: changing rooms and showers are available at Ranelagh Headquarters just down the hill from Pembroke Lodge (next to the Dysart Arms, 135 Petersham Road, Petersham, TW10 7AA).  The prize giving will also take place here. There is always a good post-race atmosphere and tea, coffee, cake etc will be available. 

Post run social: After the race, to mark the end of the season (and the men’s promotion in the Surrey League!), please join us from 5pm onwards in the Rose of York on Petersham Road,TW10 6UY (about a five minute walk from the Petersham Gate of Richmond Park and Ranelagh Harriers HQ). This is the pub at the foot of Nightingale Lane. All are welcome to the social, whether running on Saturday or not. 

The Stragglers are laying on some food and we have a good area of the pub reserved for us for the evening.  For those of you driving, there is a big carpark and the pub have confirmed that they are happy for you to park there before the race as well, if that works for you.  See below for the location of the venue.
