Stragglers Festive Schedule

Over Christmas and New Year there will be a few alterations to our regular training schedule, plus some extra offerings.
Below is the list of changes which may be added to, so please keep an eye on this page over the next couple of weeks.
Thursday 23: our runs meet at Bushy Park Sports Club for their usual 7pm start, however there will be no food available. You are welcome to bring something to eat in the clubhouse after the run if you wish, and the bar will still be open.
Saturday 25: many Stragglers will head to Bushy parkrun. See the parkrun website for which other parkrun events are taking place on Christmas Day.
Sunday 26: Cabbage Patch 4 – register at the Cabbage Patch pub from 10 am for an 11 am start. Entry for this 4 mile race is either a wrapped present to the value of £5, or £5 donation to charity.
There will be no group meeting at the Pheasantry in Bushy Park, nor long run group from Richmond Park this Sunday.
Monday 27: Little Feet will not be meeting on this evening.
Tuesday 28: Thames Ditton group meet as usual at 7pm. For other speed/interval sessions across the day coaches will communicate any changes to their groups.
Thursday 30: there will be no Thursday evening run, instead either join Kev Best’s strength and conditioning session at Bushy Park Sports Club at 9:40 am, or a run in Bushy Park will be offered from the same venue at 9:40. Coffee will be available in the clubhouse after both sessions.
Saturday January 1: our New Year’s Day run in Richmond Park. Meet at Kingston Gate carpark for a 12pm start. Full or half lap routes will be offered. Join us for a drink in the Park Tavern after the run.
Whilst most of these events take place outside, with the evolving situation around Covid these plan may be subject to change. Any alterations or cancellations will be published on this page.
