Stragglers XC Championships

Qualifying Races: (1) SL1 Wimbledon Common; (2) Stragglers XC Champs; (3 )SL 2 Epsom Downs; (4) South of Thames 5ml; (5) South of Thames 7.5ml;(6) SL3 Cranford Park; (7) SL4 Lloyd Park; (8) Ellis Trophy, Richmond Park
Point Scoring: 10pts for all finishers + Bonus of 25pts down to 1pt for the first 25 in each race.
Qualifying: Sum of best 4 scores from the 8 races during the year. If runners are tied counting their best 4 fixtures, we will count from best 5, then 6 and so on. Paid up club members only.
Awards:
- Awards are presented in each of these categories: Overall Winner, SL, M40, M50, M60 and Hero (the runner who completes the most races in the competition and scores the most points).
- The overall winner receives the award for their age categorgy in addition to overall winner's award.
- The overall winner and age category winners are not eligible for the Hero award.
- A runner must complete at least 4 races to qualify for any award
- The qualifying age category is the runner's age on the date of the first race in the series.
- Runners can only compete for age category awards within their own age category.
- 2nd claim runners may participate, providing they compete as a Straggler
- Participants must be paid up club members.
