The 2022/23 Winter Grand Prix competition consists of 10 different races throughout the XC season:

Scoring of Grand Prix Points

• Separate Male and Female competitions

• Every runner scores 10 points for each race they finish

• Bonus of 25 points to 1 point for the first 25 Stragglers in each race

• Max score for each race is 35

• Your best 4 scores for each race are totalled – max possible score is 140

• Minimum 4 races to win an award

 

Grand Prix Awards

• Male and female with the highest number of points

• Male and female hero - for running the most races (in the event of a tie, the lowest score wins)

• Highest age-grade performance for men and women in any race

• Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in each of the following categories:

  • Senior Women, F35, F45, F55, F65, F75

  • Senior Men, M40, M50, M60, M70, M80

• Most improved male and female runners – at the discretion of Team Managers

• The categories are based on your age at the first event (11/9/22)
