Training Session Descriptions
Training Sessions Summary
Little Feet – Monday 7pm
Our long established social and introductory group Little Feet meets every Monday at 7pm at the Foresters pub in Hampton Wick. Aimed originally at first time runners, it is also suitable for those returning after injury or anyone who wants to run with a friendly group. We generally have a walking group, short slow runs of 2-3 miles and faster runs of 4-5 miles. Experienced runners act as group leaders and ensure everyone is looked after. Food and drink is available in the pub after the runs. There is a small room where bags can be left, but no secure storage so please don’t bring valuables. Parking on local roads, free after 18.30. We ask that anyone coming for the first time email in advance to Little Feet so we can make sure we have a group to meet your needs.
Hampton Hill Group – Monday 7:30pm
This is the smallest group in The Stragglers and meets at 7.30 pm by the Hampton Hill gate to Bushy Park (opposite the United Reform Church). They run a set route of about 4 miles.
