Halloween Alternative

We're pleased to share this message from one of our local clubs.
"Chessington Unity Running Club will be hosting a Halloween treasure hunt as a fun way to raise some funds for a secure cabinet for our AED (portable cardiac defibrillator). As a vital piece of safety equipment, CURC would like to ensure that the AED is available for all community groups utilising Churchfields, not just CURC. So in order to do that it must be in a purpose built secure cabinet which will protect it against both the elements and the undesirables.These cost around £550.
It would be great if you could advertise this as an event to The Stragglers. There are two events. A just for fun for the kids and a more serious winning a pub voucher event for the adults in the evening. It starts and finishes in the pub so there maybe a small gin involved.

Location: The North Star pub on A243, Hook Road
Children's event - Halloween spooky treasure map around Chessington for children (50p) per map, map collection is from The North Star pub between 4 to 5:30pm.
Runner event - Halloween StreetO. Collect a map anytime between 6 and 7pm. Run to as many points on the map answering the clues and returning within one hour of starting. The most correctly answered clues within the allotted time wins the prize. Entry fee is £2.50 per person and map collection is The North Star pub."
