Ladies XC Storm to Division One!

A brilliant turnout and brilliant performance yesterday saw the Ladies XC team promoted to division one!

The A team (Sophie Beggs, Sarah Winter, Jacky Balfour, Karen Levene and Pam Witter) were 2nd but just narrowly missed out winning by two places! Our best score of the season.
The B team (Juliet Cleghorn, Kate Suttle, Sally Hoyle, Helen Davies and Brigid Hibberd) were the highest placed B team, and 6th overall so beating many of the other club A teams.
Over the four matches, the A team finished second (out of 24 teams) and the B team 7th. It has certainly been a fantastic team effort. And remember everyone counts helping to push other club's scorers further down the field.

Within a great team effort throughout the season, outstanding individual performances include Sarah Winter (3rd overall and 2nd V35+), Brigid Hibberd (2nd V50), Julie Haworth (3rd V50), and Lynda Chase (4th V60).
