Middlesex Masters XC - Greenford, 19/2/17

There was a great showing by The Stragglers at the Middlesex Master XC held at Berkeley Fields, Greenford on Sunday 19th February.
Particular mention must go to the Ladies who, after a promotion winning season in the Surrey League XC came up with a hatful of medals....
They won two golds in the team events:-
- F35 team - gold (Julia Snaith, Laura Bowden, Mirella Genziani)
- F45 team - gold (Pam Whitter, Brigid Hibberd, Julie Haworth)
and three individual medals:-
- F35 individual - bronze: Julia Snaith
- F55 individual - gold: Pam Whitter, bronze: Julie Haworth
For the men, well done to Les Brown, who won bronze in the V70 category and Kevin Best who just missed out on a medal coming 4th in the V60 category.
