On Sunday 20th November, 4 Stragglers braved Hurricane Arthur and ran the Gosport Half Marathon.

Men's SL2 XC 12/11/16
The largest Straggler men’s turn out in the Surrey League for many years saw 35 on the start line at Epsom Downs on Saturday (November 12th). With a strong team in the scorers we secured 2nd place on the day (304 points) – behind run-away winner Striders of Croydon (160 points) - and a climb from 5th to 3rd in the league table after two fixtures.

Surrey County Junior XC Relay Championship
The Stragglers Junior XC team competed in the Surrey County XC Championship at Stoke Park in Guildford on 29th October.

SEAA Road Relay
Our Ladies F40 team finished 4th, narrowly missing a podium place, at the South of England Athletic Association road relay championships at Bedford Aerodrome. Sarah Winter's brilliant 2nd fastest vet lady deserves a special mention. Also taking part from Stragglers was a senior ladies team and a men's V40 team.

Stragglers Only XC Race
On Sunday 6th November we are having an exclusive cross-country championship race for Stragglers members. The aim is to have a competitive club race and encourage more members to have a go at cross-country!
