Stragglers Only XC Race

On Sunday 6th November we are having an exclusive cross-country championship race for Stragglers members. The aim is to have a competitive club race and encourage more members to have a go at cross-country !
The race will be on Ham Lands, and we will meet at the Hawker Centre. The race will start at 10:30am, and we will need everyone to register by 10:00am, so we can then walk down to the start of the race.
The men will run 5.6 miles. It is flat and on grass, and there will be prizes (overall winner and age categories). Also, it is one of the races that counts towards the club cross-country championships for 2016/17, so your finishing place will give you points in this competition as well.
To help us gauge numbers and have most people registered beforehand, please let me know if you plan to run. It is free to take part, and it would be great to see you there…
If you are not running at the moment, but are able to help on the day, we are looking for marshals so again please let me know.
