Reducing/Eliminating Knee Pain

Posted by Alan Mawdsley on 9 March 2018

The University of Roehampton is recruiting for a study that aims to reduce and potentially eradicate knee pain in recreational runners.  Previous research has shown that a reduction in step length of just 2-4% can reduce knee pain without increasing injury risk at other lower limb joints which is what this study is aiming to achieve.

As part of the study each participant receives a comprehensive gait retraining program along with feedback on potential injury mechanisms associated with their running style.  If you are interested in participating, or have any questions, please contact
