Thursday Evening Trials at Bushy Park Sports Club

Following the membership consultation on a proposed adoption of the Bushy Park Sports Club to be the new Stragglers HQ, the proposal will be put to our AGM on Thursday September 23.
We’ve updated our guide to Bushy Park Sports Club which you can find here. Whilst the response to the proposal was extremely positive, a number of questions were submitted, many of which focused on how a Thursday evening club night at the venue would work. The committee feels the best way to answer these questions, and to potentially discover any new ones, is by giving it a try.
We have agreed with Bushy Park Sports Club that our Thursday evening group runs will meet at the venue and use the facilities (showers, bar, food) afterwards. Meet time will be 7pm.
The dates are:
- Thursday 9
- Thursday 16
- Thursday 23 (followed by the AGM)
To help with planning group runs and food numbers we would be grateful if you could fill the form out which you’ll find here. The menu for this Thursday is here with all the dishes priced at £7.50 (card payment only). We understand plans change short notice and we can be flexible on the night, however the earlier you can let us know will really help.
This Thursday is also another opportunity for you to collect a 40th anniversary t-shirt and or mug if you’ve not done so yet, and you can use the form above to show your preferences.
