Virtual Events Bonanza!

For the first time ever, this week sees the alignment of the Secret 7k (25-31 July) and Club 5k Handicap (30 July) virtual races. To celebrate this momentous occasion, we are arranging a choice of events on Thursday evening at 18:30.
Meet in Bushy Park at the kiosk next to the Diana Fountain car park at 18:30. After a warm-up, you can choose between a 7k run following the Wedding Day route (though starting and finishing at a different place) and a 5k run following one of the parkrun courses. Both these events are included in the Virtual Summer Grand Prix. For anybody who is short of time and desperate for SGP points, you can run the 5k and then add another 2k by running from the Diana Fountain car park to Teddington Gate and back!
As per EA guidelines, we will collect contact information then split into groups for each run with a maximum size of 6. The faster groups will go first thereby maintaining social distancing.
N.B. As these are virtual races, you have to measure and submit your own times.
