Volunteers Required for the 2021 Cabbage Patch 10

Posted by Simon Webb on 24 September 2021

The Cabbage Patch 10 returns on Sunday October 17th.

Organised by the Stragglers, it’s one of the leading road race events in South West London welcoming a field of around 1600 runners to the streets of Twickenham, Kingston, Ham and Richmond.

A vital part of the race is the volunteer team who act as marshals around the course as well as working at water stations and the start/finish area. The support this team provides runners is regularly stated as a reason people return each year. Many who volunteer also do so numerous times, finding it to be an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

We’re now recruiting for the 2021 race and require at least 100 volunteers.

The race begins at 9 am with a briefing held around an hour before. The majority of tasks are completed by 12pm, whereafter we will provide all volunteers with lunch at the Cabbage Patch pub.

If you’re available please sign up here and Keith Haworth will be in touch with more details.
